Owner Advocacy

The Dispatch Ecosystem champions the ideals of Owner Advocacy. Owner Advocates in our system must adhere to three basic principles:
Within Fish Dispatch, you should also be passionate about fishing, although we make some allowances for our high tech folks.
The most straightforward path to an Owner Advocate role in our system is via moderating your own territory. You meet the first criteria of owner advocacy by buying into a territory. You can meet the second criteria by helping us create the “buzz” of Fish Dispatch by encouraging your friends and family to join us in this micro- entrepreneurship mission.
You can become a moderator and advocate on behalf of customers by totally running your Individual Operating Territory (IOT). Moderators develop the Trusted Trees in their IOT and moderate the fish catch reports, and as necessary, adjudicate when there are claims of false reporting. Moderators also tune the payout system, with the ability to use revenue for ads to up the payout bounties to the reporters.
Owner Advocates are required to tailor the system in their locale by updating our database with the unique species of your territory (to include locale names), fishing techniques, fishing holes, and fishing facilities (e.g., boat ramps, marinas, etc.). If you own a upper level territory, you will be required to divide that territory into lower level tiers and eventually into IOTs.
We look for Owner Advocates who innovate and provide us great ideas on how to improve the system and better serve their customers. That is the third element. Fish Dispatch will assign a systems engineer from our Technical Services branch that manages the process of capturing your needs and seeing they are incorporated into our system, whether that be a smartphone feature or a backend component on our web tier. Owner advocates are constantly on the prowl looking for new services that we can provide to customers within our services portfolio.
Owner Advocates double the share they earn from transaction revenue (derived from real-time location-based fish catch reports) as compared with a passive territory owner. Depending on the transaction volume of your IOT and the popularity of your Fish Dispatch services, you may be able to make a full time living as an Owner Advocate. Our goal has been to size the IOTs in such a way that you can at least have a lucrative part time job working in a pastime you love.
- Be an owner
- Advocate ownership to others
- Advocate to the system on behalf of customers and users
