Upping the Bounty
When you supply a subscription into the system, reporters see it on their mobile smartphones and the amount of dollars tied to the request. If you are not getting the reports that you need, then you may need to consider upping the bounty tied to your subscription. Fish Dispatch is a system that provides the mechanism for you to essentially present a financial offer to a large pool of anglers for a particular time-sensitive location-based fish report and it provides the means for those anglers to be paid when your criteria are met. The reporters do not have to respond if they don’t feel the price is right. Some species may require you to pay more to dangle a larger bounty in front of the reporters. When you provide your subscription, the system will alert you based on market conditions whether we think you need to put more dollars into your bounty.
The novel feature of Fish Dispatch is that in some cases, when multiple anglers are subscribing with similar criteria, the bounty offered to anglers is much larger, because we aggregate your bounty with other subscribers matching similar location, species, and all your other criteria. What we are saying is that your $20 daily subscription may actually appear much larger (e.g., $100) to the reporter because he or she sees the total bounty from all subscribers for a particular day.

Your Account
You must establish an account with Fish Dispatch to subscribe to receive fish catch reports. You must deposit a minimum of $5 to open your account. From the balance of your account, you may then choose a subscription service. Monies from your account are only deducted in the event that a fish catch report is dispatched to you based on the criteria of your subscription. For example, if you submit a subscription for all reporter class types ($20 - Novice, Expert, and Professional) for Striper on a particular day in a five mile radius of your location, and you do not receive a real time location-based report matching those criteria, the subscription expires, and the $20 is credited back to your account. You are free to use that balance against a subscription on another day.
